This does not accost the bodily problem. The problem is not cursor move speed. The problem is that the push section of the touch pad is at present even more sensitive than the rest of the touch pad was under Win 8.i (where over-sensitivity already was an result and where there also was no choice for fine-tuning)

In Win 10, when the user presses the push button section of the pad to select an particular, the very human activity of touching the button, by itself, starts moving the cursor to some other location so that but in the instant it takes the user to depress the button fully, the cursor has already moved on and inevitably selected or activated an item the user did not intend.

This is a huge problem.  It makes the desktop, apps, and documents extremely difficult to navigate because near whatever touch on of the touch pad brings an unintended - and maddeningly active - response.

I'm not certain if this helps, but I solved my touchpad sensitivity trouble, which was a slight problem with Win 8.1 and major with Win 10, on an HP dts Pavilion laptop as follows:

one. Correct-click on the Taskbar's Starting time Push at far left and select "Command Panel"

two. Select "Hardware and Sound"

iii. If showing, under "Synaptics Touchpad V7.5" (or whatever brand) select "Settings"

Otherwise, nether "Devices and Printers" select "Mouse" then select "Settings"

four. Click the small white arrow to the left of "Pointing" to reveal "Sensitivity"

5. Click the Cycle (Sensitivity Settings) to the right on the "Sensitivity" line to display the control for it.

half-dozen. The default (at least on mine) is the next to lightest bear on of the 6 increments shown. I moved mine to the fourth of the 6 positions (you lot can also select in between) and everything is fine!

I am having a like issue. The touchpad on my ASUS TP500L is now constantly beingness activated with the lower part of my thumbs while typing, which causes the cursor to jump to a different section of text and start typing at that place. To say that it is annoying would exist a serious understatement. I never had these problems prior to upgrading to Windows 10, so I can only assume it has to do with differences in the drivers. How practice I prepare this problem?

The boys of Redmond, since upgrading to W7, have failed to resolve how to adapt drivers on updating.
Ie we moving from XP to W7, W8, W8.i, and W10, and always the aforementioned problems: drivers.
It seems that is user problem, when it is not.
The problem is always Windows.

I'm totally agree with you, simply my answer really Works.
