hello,,the raven was an inexpencive 25 auto pistol and is worth around 50-75 bucks ,,they are not the weapon of choice for protection and dependability isn't 100% most of the time ,,they seem to misfeed when the mag is loaded to capacity and often jam and this comes from personal experience with them over the years ,,

The Raven .25 reliability can be vastly improved with some light polishing of the load ramp using extra fine steal wool or high grain sand paper. I also suggest using only FMJ round. MY favorite is the zinc coated Blazer round which also happens to be one of the least expensive as well. 200 rounds through my Raven without a single misfeed or FTF.

Retail value for a Raven .25 ACP in good or better condition would range from $40 to $75 depending on mechanical and bore condition and remaining original wood and metal finish.

When you go to a gun show ask $75,you probably will be lucky to get $60.That is what I saw one sell for last year.

I carry an MP25 for a smaller back up. Let me shoot you in the head with it and then tell me the little gun ain't good for protection?? Dum **** u can be killed with a frige. Ink pen or a bobby pin.. Moron.

I have not as of yet had any jam ups with my raven. I carry it for back up because it is light and small. Easy to get out of an ankle holster. Shots perfect as fast as I can squeez the trigger. I have used it several times when duty called for it. Keep it clean lightly oiled and it will not fail you when needed. Lightly sand the clips upper ends and smoth both sides with emery cloth and steel wool the. Clean clip and oil spring. Keep the raven clean and remember. "One shot" " One kill" your raven will keep you alive..

I use to carry a FIE Titan 25 in my dress slacks.I aim for the head/throat when I carry a mouse gun.It will do the job when needed.The 45 fanatics even claim the 38spl isn't accurate enough for self defense.I say if it makes you feel safe carry it.
